Hello awesome people of archive.org,

I'm experiencing a glitch. I'm trying to upload 706 videos, totaling 179GB of video. The flash uploader won't detect them unless I split them into separate folders. When I try uploading through the flash uploader it says it's only 85GB not 178GB.

I'm having issues uploading these files.

Could I have some advice please?

try the html5 uploader at archive.org/upload instead.
is there a reason you're putting 706 videos into a single item?

Yes, I'm trying to mirror a YouTube channel I believe is in danger. It's basically all their videos.

I'm having the same issue at https://archive.org/upload/

It does seem to work if I split them in different folders like part 1, part 2, part 3, etc.. But I'd rather not do that because it's going to make the videos even more out of order than they already are.

I need all videos together in one folder. Is there anything else I can do?

YouTube keeps going after them. Videos get deleted or censored. Strikes for no reason. You know the usual signs that somethings going to happen.

if you are certain the content does not violate our terms of use perhaps you should try the ia command-line tool at https://github.com/jjjake/internetarchive
